Coming Back to Acceptance – Jeanne Hayes (2024)Jeanne Hayes, an 82-year-old therapist who has lived a life of many different colors, tells her story with a profound perspective of acceptance (and humor).
A video interview. Fun fact: Jeanne is the one who originally encouraged me to make the most of my life stortytelling skills by leaning into these kinds of videos. |

"I’m Not Afraid of Dying, but I Love Living" – Maggie Seideman (2024)
Maggie Seideman, an 80-year-old trailblazing nurse, matriarch of a 350+ member family, and an intense lover of life, tells her story from her hospice room.
This is an audio-only interview with lots of photos sprinkled in to reward those who give their full attention to her story. Fun fact: Maggie’s son-in-law, Charles "Cros" Mack, composed the outro music. The intro was composed by my lovely friend Jason Arnold, who also composed for Teacher of Patience. |

Take Life As It Comes – Nelly Scott Neiderberger (2019)Mrs. Nelly Scott-Neiderberger, an 88-year-old Swiss woman living in Cambridge, shares her storied past of love, loss, risk, and independence.
A video interview. Fun fact: I met Nelly during my semester abroad in Cambridge, England. I was walking around town searching for an interesting person to be the subject of a documentary, and here was atheist Nelly at a church party (she was there for the good food and friends) ready to tell her story. During that time, I also met wheelchair racer Claire of Forever A Champion. Now streaming on Hoodox. |
